Women’s Health & Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Because feeling good in your body isn’t optional — it’s essential.

At Elite Physical Therapy, we believe that women’s health deserves specialized, compassionate, and effective care. Our Women’s Health & Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy program is designed to help women of all ages regain confidence, comfort, and control — whether they’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, or anything in between.

We proudly offer one-on-one, private treatment sessions with highly trained clinicians who are passionate about helping women feel their best. You’re not alone — and you’re definitely not broken. Let’s talk about what pelvic floor therapy can do for you.

What Is the Pelvic Floor — and Why Does It Matter?

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles at the base of your pelvis that supports your bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs. These muscles are involved in core stability, bladder and bowel control, and even sexual function. When they’re weak, tight, or out of sync, the results can be frustrating, painful, or even embarrassing — but they’re treatable.

Common Conditions We Treat

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction:

  • Urinary leakage (stress or urge incontinence)
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Painful intercourse (dyspareunia)
  • Chronic pelvic pain
  • Endometriosis
  • Constipation or bowel dysfunction

Pregnancy & Postpartum Recovery:

  • Diastasis recti (abdominal separation)
  • Pelvic girdle, hip, or low back pain
  • C-section or vaginal delivery recovery
  • Scar tissue mobility
  • Preparing for labor and delivery

Perimenopause & Beyond:

  • Hormonal pelvic changes
  • Osteoporosis-related imbalance
  • Post-menopausal discomfort

What to Expect from Pelvic Floor PT

We know pelvic health can feel like a sensitive subject — but you’re in good hands.

During your first visit, you’ll receive a thorough and respectful evaluation of how your pelvic floor and surrounding muscles are functioning. Depending on your needs, your treatment may include:

  • Manual therapy for muscles and fasci
  • Biofeedback to improve awareness and control
  • Therapeutic exercise to strengthen or relax pelvic muscles
  • Education and behavioral strategies for lasting results

All care is delivered in a private, closed-door setting, and always at your pace. You’ll never be rushed, and you’ll never feel like just another appointment on the schedule.
