Types of Treatment

A committed partner in your lasting recovery.

With the right team on your side, you can move forward in life without constant pain and limiting dysfunction. Whether you’re experiencing chronic back aches, recovering from surgery, suffering from a knee sprain, or fighting immobility, our team can help you find relief that lasts. We specialize in identifying the source of the problem and developing a personalized treatment plan that targets the root causes of your dysfunction, so you can reclaim your life.

Here’s how we can help:

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

Recovering from surgery can feel daunting. We work closely with your physician to return you to your pre-injury functional level. We have established, goal oriented, post-surgical protocols, providing guidance and encouragement during your rehabilitation.

You might benefit from post-surgical rehabilitation if you’ve had surgery to repair:

  • Fractures
  • Ligament tears
  • Rotator cuff tears
  • Knee arthroscopy
  • Meniscus tears

Back Pain & Neck Pain

Whether chronic or acute, back or neck pain can be painful and limiting. We address your pain with manual techniques for the joints and soft tissues, including spinal mobilization and manipulation. We’re also specialists at prescribing the proper exercise program to address your limitations.

You might benefit from therapy if you suffer from:

  • Acute and chronic lower back and neck pain
  • Muscle-tension headaches
  • Pain extending into the arms or legs
  • General arthritic back complaints
  • Lumbar spinal stenosis
  • Work-related back pain

Sports Therapy

Whether you’re a youth, high school, college, professional, or recreational athlete, we have the state of the art skills and training necessary to return you to sports quickly and effectively. Our scientific based return-to-sport testing protocol utilizes principles from SFMA, Y-BALANCE and FMS.

We use a variety of the following interventions to prevent and treat sports related injuries:

  • Pre-participation screening

  • Taping and bracing
  • Sports specific ergonomic and training regimens
  • Manual physical therapy

Neurological Rehabilitation

We work with individuals suffering from a variety of neurological disorders or diseases. Common problems of patients with neurological disorders include paralysis, vision impairment, poor balance, difficulty walking, and loss of independence, all of which physical therapy can improve. We work together to develop a plan focused on maximizing function so you can return to what’s most important in life.

You might benefit from neurological rehabilitation if you have experienced these conditions:

  • Alzheimer’s
  • ALS
  • Brain injury
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Parkinson’s disease
